(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $15.00) Adventure Comics #438 by DC (National Periodical Publications), from April 1975. Nobody drew The Spectre like Jim Aparo. Everyone's favorite dead guy is depicted on the cover looming in the background while some (probably deserving) fellow gets mauled by gorillas!! Perhaps they mistook him for a piece of Samsonite luggage. There is also an Aquaman story, and a previously unpublished "Seven Soldiers of Victory" tale...artwork by Howard Chaykin, Dick Dillin, Mr. Aparo, and Ernie Chan. Wonderful, wonderful escapism. The Spectre always gave Mr. Pop Top the creeps as a kid. Don't pass up this MINT copy of this great issue. Magazine dimensions 10" x 7". Out of stock.
