Original 1985 Robo Strux "Radox" (Salamander) DX (Tomy) *SOLD*
[RARE]
$425.00

(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $425.00) Robo Strux "Radox" (Salamander) DX Robot, from Tomy. Another INCREDIBLE FIND from The Pop Top Shop...Radox, a walking, winged "salamander"...MINT IN BOX, STILL FACTORY TAPED BOTH SIDES, C-10 CONDITION! You probably will not find this item in this "factory-sealed" condition on any other site. These toys just BEGGED to be taken out and played with...this one somehow escaped that fate!! From 1985, this large Radox robot in Robo Strux packaging was the first version of this classic toy to be marketed in the US...it was a rarity on store shelves even then, almost a quarter-century ago. The Robo Strux series consisted of intricately-detailed and well-built, motorized robot monsters that walked around once you finished assembly...if you followed the instructions! There was a line of smaller Robo Strux creatures, and a line of expensive gorgeous DX-size monsters such as this one! The Radox toy not only walked with the aid of 2 AA batteries, his wings would flap, tail would swish and jaws would snap! As with most toys of this type (with a gazillion little parts), to have survived all of these years in the pristine condition of this one, Radox, is unheard-of. You played with them, and then you started to lose little connectors and guns and...oops, there goes the whole toy on the ground as you passed it around at the bus stop! Radox was originally marketed in Japan under the name "Salamander"...Radox was only marketed in limited fashion around the US for a year, 1985-86. That fact, plus its original high price tag, made for a RARITY! This is an INVESTMENT-GRADE toy in PERFECT condition, preserved for your collecting pleasure in Mr. Pop Top's time capsule...away from light and the ravages of time. You cannot pass this opportunity up, gang. Out of stock.
