Original Transformers "Doublecross" Monsterbot G1 *SOLD*
[RARE]
$255.00

(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $255.00) Original Transformers "Doublecross" Monsterbot G1, from Hasbro. A simply BEAUTIFUL example of the toymakers' art...Doublecross, an Autobot "Monsterbot" that was released back in 1987. Brandishing his "Rust-Ray Rifle", Doublecross sported TWO dragon heads! Talk about a split personality. In robot mode the two heads became his "hands". Doublecross was the first in the Transformers line to have "organic detailing", ie: animal parts mixed with mechanical parts. Sparks would come out from his collarbone (!) and his chest would vibrate with the pushing of a switch on his back. Strange. Doublecross' run was short-lived, and he was never "brought back" in any form or reissued, as so many other Transformers have been. This Doublecross is absolutely MINT...FACTORY-SEALED C-10 BOX FIRMLY TAPED ON BOTH SIDES, NO FLAP-CREASE, UNOPENED, UNPLAYED. Just like it was still sitting on the shelf at Toys R Us almost a quarter-century ago. Waiting for you. Out of stock.
