Ghostbusters "Ghost Popper" Gun (Kenner) *SOLD*
[RARE]
$95.00

(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $95.00) Ghostbusters "Ghost Popper" Gun, by Kenner. "If there's somethin' strange, in your neighborhood...who ya gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!" The ground-breakingly-funny movie "Ghostbusters" was released in the Summer of 1984 and was a world-wide hit. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson did battle with some cool-looking ghosts ("I've been slimed!"). Of course with the film's success, Ghostbusters toys could not be far behind...here is one of , if not THE FIRST, of the Ghostbusters toys: Kenner's "Ghost Popper" Gun from 1984! This one is in great shape for its age (F-VF) and comes complete with its 6 original foam bullets. Gun is a big 15" long and feels great in your hands...pretty accurate, too! This is the rarer version with cylinder-shaped yellow bullets, not balls. This toy shoots the foam bullets across the room with ease after just a few pumps on the air pump at back...all that one would need for ectoplasmic target practice on a rainy Saturday afternoon in the basement, a quarter-century ago!! This gun is also important in the scheme of toy history, as it was the direct predecessor of the Nerf Gun. Original Ghostbusters logo intact on both sides. "I ain't 'fraid a no ghosts!"
