Original Godaikin "Machine Dolphin" Robot (Bandai) *SOLD*
[RARE]
$275.00

(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $275.00) Original Godaikin Machine Man "Machine Dolphin" Robot, by Bandai. From 1984 comes this Godaikin oddity, "Machine Dolphin"! Beautifully crafted in heavy diecast metal and plastic, masterfully painted...typical of the quality of the whole Godaikin line...a cut above the rest. Machine Dolphin is from the Japanese TV show "Seiun Kamen Machine Man" which aired between 1984 and 1985. The plotline centered around an alien robotic cop who fought against the evil Professor K and his organizations "Tentacle" and "Octopus", who had it in for the world's children! In every episode, Professor K would come up with different means by which to torment children...such as showing them "simulated" footage of their parents getting hit by cars, or erasing all of the words in books so that children had nothing to read, or...weirdest of all...removing childrens' stomachs so that they would walk around off-balance. Mr. Pop Top does not make this stuff up, gang. Weirrrrd stuff by any measure...and this show skewed young, too. Machine Man would come to the rescue, of course, with the assistance of lots of re-used action footage. This latter-day Godaikin robot toy contains not only Machine Man himself, but his transforming robot Power Suit which changes into the "Space Colony" Jet and a "Gliding Car"! One of the more unique Godaikins...and this original from 1984 is MINT-IN-BOX, NEVER REMOVED, NEVER PLAYED. Another C-10 from The Pop Top Shop! Out of stock.
