Limited Edition "Independence Day" Movie Promo Placard. From 1996 comes this rarity which was part of the promotion for the now-classic Oscar-winning sci-fi epic. "Independence Day" starring Will Smith (battling a host of invading aliens) won the Academy Award for special effects. This great film unfortunately foreshadowed some of the actual destruction of New York City which occurred five years later on 9/11. This very limited run glossy placard is in MINT CONDITION and is MATTED, finishing out to about 8" x 10". For fans of this film and science fiction in general, this is a must...you will be hard-pressed to find one of these on the auction sites. There aren't that many around.
