(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $125.00) Space Sheriff Shaider "The Star Searchers" Robot, by Bandai. This great piece is from 1984, and is MINT-IN-BOX!! Released in the US as a "Star Searcher" figure, this was actually from the popular 1984 Japanese TV series "Space Sheriff Shaider", which featured the main character, Shaider, patrolling the streets in a blue Suzuki SJ on the prowl for the evil Fuuma. The transforming robot Vavilos also came from this series (released at about the same time by Bandai as a Godaikin robot). In this obscure packaging, the "Star Searcher" is named Zeric. This is a minor rarity in the world of Japanese sci-fi, and a beautifully-made piece, with lots of diecast metal and highly-detailed plastic parts, including some battery-operated functions.
