Original Godaikin "Combattra" Super Robot System *SOLD*
[RARE]
$1,100.00

(Sorry, Out of stock...SOLD for $1,100.00) Original Godaikin "Combattra" Super Robot System, by Bandai. The "classic among classics" of Godaikin toys, Combattra. A MINT-IN-BOX, NEVER REMOVED, NEVER PLAYED, NO EDGE-WEAR BOX Godaikin transforming robot from 1984, Combattra (known as Combattler V in Japan) is a legendary set of combining robots from the 1970's TV series. Combattra was the predecessor to the famous Voltes V robot. The plotline of the original Japanese TV series was as follows: thousands of years ago, the people of the planet Campbell decided to leave their planet and seek out new worlds to inhabit. One group, lead by the scientist Oreana, landed on Earth, but was delayed from their mission. In the early 21st century, Oreana's group reawakens and begins their plan to conquer the Earth. The only effective defense against the Campbellians' giant biomechanical slave beasts is the super-electromagnetic robot, Combattler V (Combattra) and its pilots. Whew! Sounds pretty dramatic. This Godaikin set was the group packaging of the entire "Super Robot System" marketed by Bandai-America almost a quarter-century ago; they also sold the individual "combiners" (five different vehicle robots) separately....but here is the whole set, in perfect condition. One of these in "not-so-perfect" condition recently sold on e-bay for MORE (nearly twice as much!!) than we are pricing this one at. A real investment-grade piece, and we only have this one in stock. Do not kick yourself later for letting another collector take this Combattra for their own! Out of stock.
