Original Godaikin "Laserion" Robot (Bandai) *SOLD*
[RARE]
$350.00

(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $350.00) Original "Laserion" Godaikin Robot, by Bandai. This is a RARITY. Laserion, complete with all of its (UNOPENED) weapons and accessories. The Godaikin robots by Bandai-America were the top-of-the-line in the toymakers art, with cast metal parts, expertly-crafted. Laserion was from the 1984 Japanese/Hong Kong TV series "Video Warrior Laserion" which ran for 45 episodes overseas and never aired in the States. The story line had something to do with virtual realities in cyberspace, evildoers, moon bases, intrepid kids with all of the answers to save earth with the help of their pal, the super robot Laserion. Although this is a great toy by Bandai, it did not "transform" as many of its compatriots on the shelves of Toys R Us did at the time...the head, however, detaches into a nifty chrome spaceship. Since there was no "TV tie-in" here in the US and the "Transformers" had taken over the market, this robot never really caught on and received only limited distribution. However, this is really a unique robot, loaded with diecast, hinged parts and translucent insertable cubes (really looks great backlit!). Laserion stands 10" tall fully constructed, or hinges into an almost "super deformed" squat version via its unique hinged construction...kind of hard to describe; you just have to see it! This is one of the finest collector robots ever made, and should have gotten more attention when it came out over 20 years ago. MINT-IN-BOX, C-10 CONDITION. Out of stock
