Original Transformers "Shrapnel" Insecticon Robot G1 *SOLD*
[RARE]
$135.00

(Sorry, Out of stock...SOLD for $135.00) Original "Shrapnel" Insecticon Transformer Robot G1, by Hasbro. Transformers...robots in disguise. From 1985, the second year of the First Generation (G1) of Transformers comes the evil Insecticon "Shrapnel", who appears to be a stag beetle when he is not a robot. On the TV show, Shrapnel had the annoying habit of repeating the last word in every sentence ("Control electricity and you control the world, world"), not to mention the ability to manipulate lightning and make clones, clones. What a character, character. (See what I mean? ANNOYING!! OK, I'll stop now.) This robot bug was originally a Diaclone toy in Japan before Hasbro hit it big with Transformers in 1984. This is the ORIGINAL issue, FACTORY-SEALED, MINT-IN-BOX Insecticon, with all of its original inserts, weapons, and "robot points" (an insidious device of Hasbros to insure the destruction of thousands of the original packages...encouraging tots to cut out a coupon from the back of the boxes...oh, the horror, the horror....) Don't let "Shrapnel" crawl into someone else's collection, make him yours! Out of stock.
