British sculptor David Winter is the son of famed sculptor Faith Winter...in the 1980's his gypsum stone figurines of English cottages became HOT collectibles, with "Cornish Harbour" being a classic! A coastal England village is depicted...complete with boats docking in front of a craggy fisherman's cottage. You just want to walk up the narrow streets of Cornwall and have a pint (or two) after looking at this. And the detail! It is what David Winter Cottages are all about. A real joy. This piece is LONG RETIRED and is only available on the secondary market when you can find them...and mostly, they are not HAND-SIGNED as this one is!! A true rarity.
