From 1984 comes this great diecast metal robot, which was originally a Japanese robot named "Dairugger XV". The Dairugger XV robot was made up of 15 different land, sea, and air vehicles, or "ruggers". The show originally aired in Japan in 1982 and was wildly popular...it eventually was re-edited and incorporated as part of the "Voltron" TV show in the US, (where he was known as "Vehicle Voltron" or Voltron I). This is the large DX size version of this wonderful toy, a rarity in that it is in MINT-CONDITION, ORIGINAL PACKAGING, UNOPENED!! Don't let this guy walk into someone else's collection. Made all the more rare in that it was part of a huge lead paint toy recall in the early 80's, and a good number of these went back to Matchbox for destruction. That, plus its original high price tag, creates a SUPER RARITY in this MISB CONDITION! Out of stock.
