Eerie #65, from Warren. Follow me, if you dare...back to April of 1975 when this little gem came out: Warren's "Eerie" magazine. This great, ghoulish, blood-curdling title was a direct descendant of the old Pulp magazines in feel and tone, illustrated by some of the all-time greats of fantasy and horror. The Ken Kelly cover of this issue features "Spook: the Zombie Giant" blasting away at someone...or something...with a Gatling Gun! Stories within: "Night of the Jackass", "The Hacker" (no, that wasn't a "computer term" in 1975...it's a story about a guy with an affinity for chopping people up with a meat cleaver!! **Oowwwww that's gotta hurt**), "A Killing Rain", "El Cid: The Troll", and "The Apocalypse: Death". Artists in this minor classic include the legendary Bernie Wrightson and Alex Toth. Fantastic ads include a promo for Mel Brooks' new film "Young Frankenstein", and an ad to send off for your own 8mm movie reels of The Three Stooges or Abbott & Costello (Mr. Pop Top actually remembers having these old silent Castle Films titles...and an 8mm projector! Man I feel old!!) Anyway, creeps, this issue of Eerie is in NM condition!! Don't let it slither away. Only one in stock.
