Rima the Jungle Girl #4, by DC (National Periodical Publications) from November 1974. The stunning Joe Kubert cover tells it all, in this thrill-packed issue of this short-lived DC title...a busty jungle babe with a sprayed-on suit and lots of hair swinging down from a vine, rescuing the Brawny paper towel guy, clothes tattered (his), with plenty of leering, spear-carrying Venezuelan Malagar Indians gathered about for the festivities!! Wow, that's entertainment! The artwork within is by the great Nestor Redondo and is reminiscent of Burne Hogarth's classic Tarzan strips. The stories are: "The Flaming Forest" Part 4, Shorty in a warmed-over, very non-PC one-pager from the 50's, and Space Voyagers in "The Four Faces of Death", drawn by the ground-breaking Alex Niņo. Too bad that this title didn't last more than a couple of years as the artwork was superior to most comics being churned out at the time. This copy is in VF-MINT condition. Magazine dimensions 10" x 7". Only one in stock...make it yours!
