(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $45.00) The Lone Ranger Playing Cards Boxed Set, from Palladium. A great litho-tin box holds TWO decks of cards with dramatic technicolor photos of both Clayton Moore as The Lone Ranger and Jay Silverheels as his faithful Indian companion Tonto. The tin box has a shot in B&W of the Ranger, Tonto, and the great horse Silver (hey, where's Scout?). This set was made in limited quantities back in 1989...ours is in PERFECT CONDITION, no scratches, dents, etc....and oh yes, both packs of cards are still FACTORY WRAPPED in clear cellophane! The Lone Ranger, who of course began his run on radio back in 1932, made it to television in 1949 and lasted as a mainstay on the small screen until 1957 on ABC-TV. Clayton Moore played the Ranger for the whole TV run, except for a brief period when John Hart donned the mask and powder-blue tights. The show lives on to this day in perpetual reruns. This boxed set of playing cards is a wonderful memento of the Golden Age of Television. "Hey, who was that masked man? I didn't get a chance to thank him." Hi-yo Silver! AWAAAYY!!! (Out of stock)
