(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $5.00) Ka-Zar #12 by Marvel, November 1975. This title ran for three years with the adventures of Ka-Zar...son of a murdered scientist, raised by a sabre-toothed tiger in the lost jungle of "Savage Land" in Antarctica. Antarctica?!! Yes, that's right true believers...a tropical jungle populated by prehistoric beasts, unknown by mankind (or students of geography). This action-packed issue features a leaping cover by none other than Joltin' Jack Kirby, with the tale "Wizard of Forgotten Flesh" penned by Doug Moench, illustrated by the great Russ Heath. Check out the great pin-up of "Sheesa" on page 31!! Owwooooo!!! Great ads, too...gotta love the classic "Skin Head Wig", "Secret Spy Scope", and the gory "Finger Chopper" device (a big hit at kid's bus stops around the nation) featured in the Honor House ad! Remember "Onion Gum"? "Grit, America's Favorite Newspaper"? This copy of Ka-Zar #12 is in mint-condition. Magazine dimensions 10 1/4" x 6 1/2". Ka-Zar...Lord of the Hidden Jungle!! Out of stock.
