Original Transformers "Grimlock" Dinobot G1 *SOLD*
[RARE]
$300.00

(Sorry, Out of stock...SOLD for $300.00) Original "Grimlock" Dinobot Transformer, by Hasbro. A Generation 1 Transformer from 1985, MINT-IN-BOX and UNOPENED! Grimlock, leader of the Dinobots, was a powerful, vain and stubborn character in the original "Transformers" animated TV show. He would answer to Optimus Prime, but secretly wanted to be Autobot leader himself. Kind of like a disgruntled employee who thinks that he can do the boss' job better. He could fire a nasty-looking energy beam from his mouth, reminiscent of Godzilla (in fact, other incarnations of this Grimlock transforming robot toy have, through the years been also issued as "MechaGodzilla"). This Grimlock robot was originally made as a "Diaclone" toy, which had a little man figure who "drove" the robot...but he fell by the wayside when it was repackaged and renamed during the "Transformers" phenomenon that hit the States in 1984-'85 (that tiny man is probably standing in some toy unemployment line to this very day!) This Dinobot is complete with all of its accessories, weapons and stickers, in its factory-sealed box (!). This rarity from almost a quarter-century ago almost NEVER turns up in this perfect quality, as the Dinobots were some of the coolest Transformers out there...every kid in America back in the 80's wanted to play with them. Hey, everybody likes dinosaurs. A unique oppurtunity to acquire another of the hard-to-find Mint Condition Dinobot G1's..."Grimlock"! Out of stock.
