A F-VF condition copy of this important issue of Geographic with its full pictorial of the life, assassination and funeral of President John F. Kennedy entitled "The Last Full Measure". This article by Melville Bell Grosvenor, President of The National Geographic Society, is A CLASSIC, loaded with exclusive photos. Also the article, carrying out JFK's wishes: "How We Plan to put Men on the Moon" ...another CLASSIC, starting with great artwork of a Gemini capsule spacewalk on the front cover, and including an incredible photo of all of the Gemini Program NASA astronauts (including the future first man on the Moon, Neil Armstrong) out in the Nevada desert dressed as Arabs!!! Also has the articles "Behind the Troubled Veil of Yemen", "Watching a Baby Gorilla Grow Up", and "First Flight Across the Bottom of the World". One of the must-have issues of the 1960's. Out of stock.
