(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $750.00) Robo Strux "Badox" (Iron Kong) DX Robot, from Tomy. A SIMPLY INCREDIBLE find...acknowledged to be the ABSOLUTE RAREST of the Robo Strux/Zoids line, Badox, MINT IN BOX, STILL FACTORY TAPED BOTH SIDES, C-10 CONDITION! I mean, it just doesn't get any better than this, Poptoppers...you will never see another MISB Badox in this condition on those auction sites. From 1986, this large "Blue Guardian" Iron Kong robot was the first version to be marketed in the US...it was a rarity on toy store shelves even then, almost a quarter-century ago. The Robo Strux series consisted of intricately-detailed and well-built robot monsters that walked around once you finished assembly...if you followed the instructions! There was a line of smaller Robo Strux creatures, and a line of expensive gorgeous DX-size monsters such as this one! The Badox toy not only walked with the aid of 4 AA batteries, his eyes would light up and the missile pack on his back would revolve while making mechanized sound effects! This would've been the ultimate toy under the Christmas tree circa 1986. Robots and gorillas; ya gotta love 'em...this guy is both. As with most toys of this type (with a gazillion little parts), to have survived all of these years in the pristine condition of this one, Badox, is unheard-of. You played with them, and then you started to lose little connectors and guns and...oops, there goes the whole toy on the ground as you passed it around at the bus stop! This large, impressive gorilla robot, Badox, was marketed in Japan as Iron Kong...seemingly an answer to Mechagodzilla in concept. This is an INVESTMENT-GRADE toy in PERFECT condition, preserved for your collecting pleasure in Mr. Pop Top's time capsule...away from light and the ravages of time. You cannot pass this opportunity up, gang. Out of stock.
