1996 Happy Meal "Storm" X-Men Toy (McDonald's)
[RARE]
$10.00

1996 Happy Meal "Storm" X-Men Toy, from McDonald's. Storm (Ororo Iqadi T'Challa) is the princess of a tribe in Kenya and the descendant of a long line of Africans with white hair, blue eyes, and a natural gift for sorcery. Her parents were killed in an attack in the Suez Canal region and leave six-year-old Ororo as an orphan. There, her violent claustrophobia is also established as a result of being buried under tons of rubble after that attack. She then becomes a skilled thief in Cairo, Egypt and wanders into the Serengeti as a young woman. There, she is worshipped as a goddess before being recruited by Professor X for the X-Men. She eventually became a leader of the X-Men, and ended up marrying T'Challa, better known as Black Panther (who has his own title, sold separately at The Pop Top Shop!) In the X-Men movies, Storm has been portrayed by none other than Halle Berry. Owwooo!! Here is an UNOPENED, FACTORY-SEALED BAG Happy Meal toy from McDonald's, released in 1996. In this toy incarnation (#2 in the Marvel Super Heroes series), Storm appears to be in some kind of "vehicle"...it has geared wheels and resembles a swirly blue bowl of some kind, with her shapely torso rising out of it. Hmmm. Anyway, snatch this one up, Poptoppers! Only one in stock.
