Classic Litho-Tin Windup Coffin Bank (Rocket USA) *SOLD*
[RARE]
$40.00

(Sorry, out of stock...SOLD for $40.00) Classic Litho-Tin Windup Coffin Bank, from Rocket USA. Every *cool* kid in the 1950's and 60's had one of these...you remember, you place the coin as an "offering" on the coffin lid, and a creepy, bony, scrabbly little skeleton hand grabs it and spirits it away under his shroud!! Eeeek!!! This is a wind-up litho tin repro version from Rocket USA, perfect for your retro Halloween display. This version is NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION. These babies are HOT collectors' items! Complete with 1950's reproduction box which relates "you can't take it with you - but you can try!!", "Mystery Novelty" and (my favorite) "Hilarious Party - Stopper". In you case you would ever want to stop a party, pull one of these out, I guess. Anyway...this is the classic 7-inch coffin bank. This poor soul couldn't take it with him, so he's taking yours instead! Wind it up, watch your money disappear...the skeleton even pokes its head out to make sure it gets every cent. The secret trap door allows you to retrieve your savings when he's not looking! Grab this one before he goes to someone else's collection. Ooops, too late...Out of stock.
