Scream #7, by Skywald Publishing. Ahhhh...Skywald. Some of the most lurid, blood-drippingly ghoulish artwork came from this short-lived publishing house back in the 70's. Skywald was a bit of an upstart company, made up of some former Marvel and Warren people who tried to go up against the big boys...and lost. Here are the "psychotic contents" of this pulse-pounding July 1974 issue: "The Man With No Face", "Nosferatu: Satan's Third Reich", "Berenice" by Edgar Allan Poe (things would've gone SO much better if she had only practiced good oral hygeine!), "The Headless Horseman", "Frankenstein" (the *2* origins of Franky!), and "I am Horror". More creepy characters menacing top-heavy vixen-victims spilling out of their torn clothes, as usual...you got a lot for 75 cents back then! This copy of Scream is in G-VG condition (one nicked corner on the front cover, probably a light snack for some passing ghoul)...these are hard to find these days, folks. Come to think of it, these were hard to find back in 1974, since it is more-than-rumored that the larger publishers kept Skywald's titles out of the market and off of most newsstands. Lucky you for finding this website...grab this copy of Scream today! Only one in stock.
