The box still has its original shipping label ("Kenner Products, Cincinnati, Ohio") and descriptive tag ("Order #46726, 12/01/86...Figures Retail at $4.99"). The Super Powers figures are some of the most sought-after today...this authentic Kenner shipping box would look great as part of your display in your superhero shrine! Each shipping box originally went out from the factory containing 24 figures...but sometimes up to 18 of them were all "Batman" or "Superman", creating a real rarity for peripheral characters like "Cyborg" or "Plastic Man". The Super Powers series comprised 33 different characters from the DC Comics universe (Aquaman, Green Lantern, Batman, Flash, Superman, etc.) Kenner Products was founded in 1947 and also produced some of the original Star Wars toys. The company is now defunct, having been gobbled up by Hasbro years ago. Here is a real piece of toy collecting memorabilia; a unique piece in great shape for its age and rarity.
