The famous Sikorsky HH-3E "Jolly Green Giant" Helicopter by Revell. This Vietnam War era plastic model kit is a highly-detailed gem. One of the workhorses of Vietnam, the "Jolly Green Giant" was built for carrying heavy loads for long distances. The box of this 1970 kit also states that the Sikorsky HH-3E was "recently the first helicopter to fly non-stop across the Atlantic"! Most of the Revell helicopter kits had features such as working rotors, crew figures, and hinged hatch doors. Quite a nice kit, in perfect condition with a pristeen box...UNBUILT...with all of its original inserts, instructions and decal sheet. One insert is a promo for a model of the "New Apollo Moonship". This 1/72 scale model kit is a rare find in this condition and a real piece of history, especially for those with Vietnam War Vets in their family. Box dimensions 5" x 12". Only one in stock.
