(Sorry, Out of stock...SOLD for $125.00) Transformers...robots in disguise. From 1985, the second year of the First Generation (G1) of Transformers comes the evil Insecticon "Ransack", who appears to be a grasshopper when he is not a robot. Hasbro's version of this well-made Bandai robot is a joy to look at from a toy collector's standpoint, with his translucent wings, big red eyes and gracefully tapering bug-legs. This was one of four "Deluxe Insecticons" released in the Hasbro line close to a quarter century ago...do not confuse this with later re-issues, or with the more recent Transformer (also named "Ransack") who turns into a fighter plane. This is the ORIGINAL issue, FACTORY-SEALED, MINT-IN-BOX Insecticon, with all of its original inserts, weapons, and "robot points" (an insidious device of Hasbro's to insure the desruction of thousands of the original packages...encouraging tots to cut out a coupon from the back of the boxes...oh, the horror, the horror....) Don't let "Ransack" hop into someone else's collection, make him yours! Box dimensions 5" x 8 1/2", with the actual bug measuring 5" long. Out of stock.
