Omega Tech 2099 Transforming Robot, by Tek Toys. From 1996 comes this beautiful chunky diecast robot figure, resplendent with winged arms, a shield, and some kind of pointy weapon. In fact, "pointy" would be a good way to describe the entire look of this unique robot, in shades of metalic blue and silver. No, gang, Omega Tech is not where robots go to college. He is a mystery robot...not much is known about him or the company "Tek Toys" for that matter, other than some other high-end Transformers and Power Rangers knock-offs they have made in recent years (such as "Robo Dino" figures that resemble Dinobots). And what is the "2099" reference? Is this what "Roombas" will look like in 90 years as they clean your house? Mr. Pop Top wonders. Anyway, a great diecast metal addition to any collection...this one is MINT-IN-BOX. Only one in stock. If only he had been born as a Transformer...what might have been.
