Come back with me, loyal Poptoppers, to the distant world of 1984: in the first wave of the new Hasbro toys known as The Transformers, was this minor gem...Windcharger! Originally a "Microchange" toy in Japan, this morphs from a humanoid robot into a sleek-looking red Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am with but a few deft manipulations. This incarnation of the Transformers version of this toy also comes packaged with a "Minispy" car, a separate miniature robot car molded in blue. This is in the RARE early packaging which has "TM" next to the word "Transformers" (see picture). Windcharger and his Minicar friend are both MINT-ON-SEALED-CARD...sadly, there is a cracked area on the bottom and right side of Windcharger's plastic bubble, the only thing that keeps this piece from being perfect...thus the GREAT PRICE!!
