This twisted take on Mr. Potato Head consisted of a skull like head with HOLES to which you could attach several accessories such as bugs, fangs, noses and blisters, to create a new monster based in altering the original face. The toy had 30 different sickening accessories, and a mannequin sized monster head attached to a base that could also store the pieces; Part of the appeal of the toy was also the possibility of ANIMATING the monster by moving his eyes and jaw which was achieved by moving two small arm like sticks in the base!! Monster Face also had a small air pump to inflate the attachable blisters in the center of the base. THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST TOYS FROM THIS ERA TO BE FOUND *COMPLETE*! When you do run into these from collectors, they are usually missing a few parts...not this one, friends! Even the sticker sheet is UNUSED! Monster Face was assembled once for display purposes so the base and torso are separate from the box. All accessories are included! Even the two "pulsating blisters" and the can of "nasal drip monster glop" (which, over the course of time, has solidified into something even MORE terrible!!). This disgusting toy was not on the shelves long, what with mothers across the U.S. returning them to stores because it gave their kids night terrors!
