Godsigma is from the Japanese hit TV series "Space Emperor God Sigma" (also known as "God Sigma Empire of Space" and "Space Combination God Sigma") which ran for 50 episodes between 1980-1981. The giant robot Godsigma is created from the combining of three smaller robots, "Kaimeio", "Kuraio", and "Rikushino". The plot of the show concerned the creation of a new energy source for Earth in the not-too-distant future called "Trinity"...and of course, everybody wants it. Including...ALIENS! Only the Trinity-powered giant robot Godsigma can stop them, run by a martial-arts expert who becomes Godsigma's pilot! Great stuff...and this giant combiner robot from Bandai is great too.
