This is a FANTASTIC find...a MINT-IN-BOX "Dancougar" from 1985, complete with all of its weapons and accessories. Pre-dating the "Transformers" craze by a couple of years, the Godaikin robots by Bandai-America were the top-of-the-line in the toymakers art, with cast metal parts and expertly-crafted transforming movements. Dancougar was from the 1985 Japanese TV series "Dancouga - Super Bestial Machine God" which ran for 38 episodes overseas. THIS WAS THE LAST ORIGINAL GODAIKIN ROBOT MADE BY POPY FOR BANDAI-AMERICA and very few "Dancougars" were released as such back in '85...and fewer still are thought to exist in "Godaikin" packaging, such as this one offered to you by Mr. Pop Top! This classic toy by Bandai, Dancougar, is acknowledged to be one of the finest robots ever made.
