This one, by the way, is from 1984 and is in MINT-IN-BOX condition as it has never been opened! Originally a Popy toy in Japan, Gardian is a masterpiece of the toymaker's art...it is considered among collectors to be the most unique of the Godaikin line. The way it works is similar to those old wooden "nesting dolls" that you might run across in a Russian specialty shop; one piece fits into the next, and then into the next, etc. The biggest robot in this huge set is Garbin, followed by Delinger and Protteser. There are tons of accessories with Gardian: swords, hatchets, missiles, spikes...even a tiny robot panther named Clint (no kiddin'!).
