Original 1985 "The Statue of Liberty" model kit by Revell. This is the kit issued by Revell/Ceji (Germany) to commemmorate the 100th anniversary of the "Statue" and its restoration. Mr. Pop Top was there and remembers it well...July 4, 1986 in New York Harbor...but I digress. This is the original 1985 version of this now out-of-production plastic model kit, and is difficult to locate today, especially in perfect condition and UNBUILT as this one is! And, if you are, say, making a "Planet of the Apes" diorama...this would be perfect for that final scene with Charlton Heston looking up at fallen "Liberty"!
