It is MINT-IN-BOX, and never opened, taken directly from a sealed case. Bags are still sealed, parts still on trees, all inserts intact...GEM MINT. The Nichimo kits, some of the first on the market when Macross hit it big on Japanese TV, are the most highly-regarded kits amongst collectors...they are deemed to be of higher quality than the later kits of other companies in both Japan and the US. This is one of a great series of "new old-stock" Japanese-issue kits exported overseas in the wake of the success of the english-translated "Robotech" TV series (which utilized characters and sequences culled from the old "Super Dimensional Fortress Macross" series).
