National Geographic Magazine from February 1952.. A wonderful example of National Geographic magazine in the 1950's...articles on "Vacation Tour Through Lincoln Land", "Man-of-War Fleet Attacks Bimini", "Yemen Opens the Door to Progress", "Our Universe Unfolds New Wonders", and "Clove-scented Zanzibar". Splendidly illustrated and written issue, in VG-F condition with some minor edge wear. Plenty of old ads for Kodak, Dumont Televisions, steamship lines, bus lines, railway, even Martin Aircraft's new "water-based weapons". The back cover has a lantern-jawed flyboy popping a cap for Coca-Cola, with the ad stating that "a stop at the familiar red cooler is like meeting up with an old friend"...I guess it gets mighty lonely out there at the airbase! Magazine dimensions 10" x 7". Only one in stock.
