Marvel Collectors' Item Classics 1969/4 #20 (Marvel)
[RARE]
$55.00

Marvel Collectors' Item Classics #20, from Marvel Comics. All the way back in 1969...April, to be precise, this gem appeared in those revolving comic book racks at Drug Fair. Lucky you for finding this website, for this copy of MCIC has survived 40+ years, awaiting placement in your collection! Thus, the term "Collectors' Item". This thrill-packed GIANT-SIZE comic contains tales of The Fantastic Four, X-Men, Iron Man, Dr. Strange and more. And...it's just dripping in primo Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko artwork!! You just can't get any better than that, in Mr. Pop Top's humble opinion. This copy of issue #20 is in G-VG condition and is a very fun read from end to end..including the usual variety of 1960's-era ads for GRIT (with the smiling dork holding a fistful of super-green money), a 6'-long "Missile Tank" you could purchase for a mere $6.98 (with a couple of grinning kids at the wheel just itchin' to level Mrs. Goldberg's house at the corner of the block!), Norman Rockwell on the back cover "looking for people who like to draw" (perhaps, to systematically weed them out, one by one), "Finish High School at Home", learn the secrets of Karate, etc. Everything one would want from a 25-cent magazine, and more. Only one in stock.
