1st Issue Special "Return of the New Gods" #13, from DC Comics. Wow! The final issue (April 1977) of this short-lived "1st Issue" concept from DC brought the return of the legendary Jack Kirby's "New Gods"! An epic in comicdom, the New Gods saga has spanned 3 decades in sporadic runs, encompassing many "worlds" of top-flight sci-fi action. This revival issue was the first in the series to carry the artwork of Mike Vosburg, doing a fine job of channeling Kirby's bombastic style. The story "Lest Night Fall Forever" is by Denny O'Neil and Gerry Conway...need I say more?! Comic fans hold this series in high regard...we have (currently) 1 copy left of this important comeback title, in VF-MINT CONDITION. Delay not, mortal!!
