Master of Kung-Fu #22, by Marvel. HIIIIYAAA!! Here comes another chopsocky adventure featuring Shang-Chi and various Sax Rohmer characters...from November 1974. A VF-MINT copy of this great issue, which grabs you with a cover that screams "The fortune cookie says DEATH!". I mean, what 13 year old boy looking at that on the rack at Drug Fair back then could've resisted shelling out 25 cents (yes, that's right, 25 cents...reality check for younger generations). Incredibly stylized artwork by future Batman and Star Wars artist Paul Gulacy is reminiscent of early Jim Steranko. And, story by Doug Moench, obviously deriving inspiration from nearing the bottom of a carryout container of General Tso's chicken. A great piece of Marvel mayhem. The only trouble is that after you read it, 30 minutes later you are hungry again. *Nudge nudge wink wink*. Only one in stock.
