An original MPC Pirates of the Caribbean model kit from 1972 in perfect condition, UNBUILT! One of a series of "Zap-Action" kits that MPC made based upon Disney theme park attractions, this kit features animated 1/12 scale skeleton pirates that move about when built (through a system of parts with pegs, hinges, and rubber bands...ah, the short-lived phenomenon that was "Zap-Action"!) Includes all of its original inserts with pirate doubloons and a skull & crossbones plaque! This predates, of course, the hit movies of recent years...why, Johnny Depp was only 9 years old when these came out!
